Commercial Uses
In addition to home use, there are many possible commercial applications for the OlifeEnergy Box and its underlying technologies.
This is the case especially when the Box itself is used together with the Powered by Olife software solution.
The potential applications are too numerous to list and are limited only by your imagination and commercial rationale.
Here are two examples of many:
Commercial Building
A larger commercial application of the Box can be used:
- to balance load on the grid, and eliminate overuse penalties
- to offer tenants significantly lower electricity costs and enhance the building’s green credentials
- in conjunction with EV charging stations, to provide smart solutions for charging company EV fleets
- as a first line power backup – lifts, emergency lighting, safety systems. Allowing you to reduce or in some cases eliminate diesel generators or banks of environmentally unfriendly lead acid batteries
- in some markets, for energy trading; Buy electricity off peak or self-generate from Solar and then sell excess back to the grid at higher prices (Revenue Generation)
Distributed Networks
Individual commercial iterations of the box can be co-located with existing infrastructure (phone towers, rail networks, motorway signage and tunnels, pumping stations etc). They can be used;
- together with Powered by Olife software, to provide centralised control monitoring and management of all attached devices (not just the OlifeEnergy equipment),
- to significantly reduce energy costs
- to eliminate the need for grid connection
- to entirely eliminate the need for alternative power backup,
- to reduce the need for site visits and maintenance
- in some markets, for energy trading; Buy electricity off peak or self-generate from Solar and then sell excess back to the grid at higher prices (Revenue Generation)
